This BMW is in good condition. It has 83,000 miles, has had two owners (my father then I--28 y/o male), has had an extensive amount of maintenance of $5,000 two years ago-- clutch, struts, engine lines, driveshaft rubber, battery/starter, new speakers/amp/headunit, and more. It still needs a few things, of which I got estimates on very recently: This is just one shop: parts, labor, and tax Window motors-- they still work but are just slow: $1100 for both New Glove box: $500 Driver's door handle replacement-- you have to push in on the door to get it to open: $500 Driver and passenger seat belt guides: $550 The hood has some soft dents along the surface: $500 Clutch Pedal Bushings: $120 Convertible Top: The top works fine and the canvas is in good shape, but it's just at the age where it needs a new one: $1500 So if you put $3700 into this car you'll have a near immaculate car. I am recently married and while I love the car I cannot afford to keep it the way it should be, hence the recent estimates. I put a lot of money in big ticket items a couple years ago and was not prepared to handle a car of this age and quality. This car belongs in the hands of a more wealthy owner. It has Michelin PSS of 2,000 miles on all 4. The paint is in excellent condition. I only give all the above information as I believe a buyer should be informed when it comes to a 20 year old car. Ask me anything you want about the car, I'm an open book.
