Seller Description

  • All stock except for Dinan software from new. Used to have an aftermarket radio, but I sourced an original unit and installed it. Also had a Dinan exhaust from new, but I have reverted back to a low mileage stock 4 tip muffler.
  • Currently 76,697 miles, originally an Oregon car. Car was purchased by me in April 2016 (with 74,287 miles) and shipped to Tucson, AZ. I changed all oils, and the car had already had recent cooling system refreshing. I had the front bumper re-sprayed to repair chips. I replaced all the clear headlights and tail lights with amber versions (I still have all the original lights for the buyer). I also have an OEM tonneau cover with the car, and two car covers, and new OEM rear window protector. I also will include a brand new OEM rear window for the soft top. The current window is fine and leak tight, but needs polishing to remove typical rub marks from folding. I was just going to replace it eventually, so the new window is yours with the car. This is my fourth Z3, and third BMW with the S52 engine. I am a rare person who actually sold my S54 M Roadster to get the S52 version (you can see some photos with both cars pictured together). I love the S52 power delivery as compared to the higher strung S54. I also have a '00 S52 M Coupe and '99 E36 M3, so I really do like the S52. Out of all my S52 cars, this M Roadster's motor seems the strongest and runs best. I can leave it set for a month, and it fires right up as if it were just shut down minutes beforehand. Clutch feels fine, brakes are solid. Typical notchy ZF 5 speed, but no issues shifting. Tires and wheels are in great shape, with only minor rash on one of the wheels. No subframe issues (see under carriage shots of differential mount and associated cross member). Replaced the glove box as the original was sagging. Top is in great condition. Leather seats are in fantastic shape with just expected creases on driver's bolster. No accidents, all original body panels.
  • Some new pictures will be coming as soon, once the monsoon weather here calms down and I have a chance to clean and detail the car - I deeply apologize for the dirty and dusty interior! but I'm in the process of acquiring a rare 8 series, and I quickly need to sell the M Roadster and a couple of my other BMWs to make room for the E31!
  • I have a copy of the CarFax from when I bought the car in 2016, and the official BMW report covering the first 3 years of the car's life.
  • This will be the 6th transaction I've done on Jon's fantastic Buyer's Guide website, and my 3rd exclusive sale ad! Thanks again to Jon and his hard work for the BMW community.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions or would like to send me your offer! Thanks for looking-

Looks like another great car from Joe. It once again happens to be oxford green as well. It's had lots of recent maintenance. I think the price seems very fair.
