For sale 1998 BMW M Roadster. Inline 6cyl engine 240 horsepower. 5spd Manual transmission. 186k mileage. 2nd owner. Car runs and handles great. Rebuilt and reinforced rear end frame by Rome Race Shop. Needs cosmetic love exterior and interior. Interior items: Leather repairs to both seats. Repair window regulator driver side. Car exterior door handle needs to repaired internally. Shifter is loose. Exterior items: general wear re: paint. Some small dents/scratches. Rims have some rubs/scuffs. One rim could use refinish b/c existing finish is chipping.
Cannot pass emissions due to engine light on.
Great project car. Hate to let it go but not practical with four kids. Asking $4k for kbb "fair" condition.

Lots of miles, but the subframe reinforcement is worth almost half the asking price. It also appears to have chrome shadow roadstars form an S54. I agree with the seller that this would make a great project car. I think it's a good deal too.
