Seller Description

81k miles on this very rare Titan Silver M Roadster with black and red interior and extremely rare RED soft top. I've never seen another M Roady with a red soft top, this was a super rare factory combo. There are approximately 1600 S54 motor M Roadsters made, only a handful with this color combination.

The car has Rogue Engineering transmission mounts, as well as Koni externally adjustable front struts and internally adjustable rear shocks.

All service up to date including Inspection II, new air&fuel filters, plugs, oil change just done as well, with the proper BMW/Castrol TWS Motorsport 10-60 oil. Service lights and ecu reset with every oil change since I've owned it. Has never had an SES light, nor any stored codes since I've owned it. I have recently done a full brake system fluid flush, including replaced the aging clutch line with the UUC stainless steel braided line. The takeup, feel, and engagement point are perfect.

ALSO VERY RARE, it comes with matching hard top, cover for hard top, plus the E-Z Hoist lift system for easy storage overhead. I will include all mounting eyes and everything you need to mount the hoist in your garage if you want to, including the power drill attachment to drive the gear. It also comes with a hand crank, but the cordless drill method is faster and easier.

Also of course has the original tonneau cover, barely used, and mesh wind screen that mounts between the rollbar hoops, is zipped into the up position when top is down to decrease buffeting (works well but I never used it).

Tires are OK on all four corners, will need replacing in ~3k miles.

Car is VERY clean and well maintained. It does have 2 punctures in the driver's bolster, which will hopefully be repaired before sale, but this can also be negotiated in the terms. Otherwise the interior is in fantastic condition. I also had the front bumper resprayed, it had too many chips for my taste. It will also need a new rear window. The original one is present, which is a testament to how much the hard top was used. Typically, the rear windows last 5-6 years.

Selling to simplify and consolidate cars. Test drives encouraged, that's how I got hooked =]

Price is somewhat firm at $21,000

My Comments

Sold 9/8/12 - Sold to Scott for $17,300. Good deal!

7/31/12 Update - Now on AutoTrader with some new photos and the price lowered to $19,800 from $21,000

It seems to be well cared for and I love the color combo with the red soft top. The hardtop is a huge plus as is the recent Inspection II. I assume some of the photos were from before the bumper was repainted. I think the price is fair all things considered.
