Seller Description

This 1999 BMW M Roadster is finished in Imola Red over a matching leather interior and shows 67k miles. The car was purchased new in Maryland and has been with the seller, an aircraft mechanic in Florida, for the past three years and 15k miles. Power comes from a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while modifications include an aftermarket stereo and later BMW steering wheel. A BMW Inspection II type service was conducted by the seller 10k miles ago. This M Roadster is sold with removed stock equipment, a window sticker, partial records, a clean Carfax report, and a clear Florida title.

Sheet metal is finished in Imola Red, and no accidents or other damage are noted on the Carfax report. All Z3 M cars featured wider rear bodywork with quad exhaust pipes, and this example rides on silver-finish 17″ Roadstar alloy mounted with Kumho Ecsta rubber.

A black soft top was optioned new and is further shown in the gallery below.

The interior is finished in Imola Red and black leather, and the seller has fitted a later steering wheel and floor mats. The removed stock equipment is included in the sale and shown in the gallery below. The odometer shows 67k miles, with about 15k added by the seller over the past three years.

The seller notes that the typical Z3 glovebox sag has been remedied, while the seat bushings, rear top window, and A/C evaporator have all been replaced. Additional interior images show the gauges, doors, door sills, carpets, and seating surfaces.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and produced 240 horsepower from the factory. The seller is an aircraft mechanic and performed the BMW factory Inspection II about 5k miles into his ownership. Receipts are included for the parts used to conduct the service.

The seller has removed the trunk carpeting for pictures of the mounting points for the rear subframe, which is further documented in the gallery below.

Another differential mount photo is shown in the gallery below.

The window sticker shows an MSRP of $43,470, and the seller is including partial paperwork dating back to 2003.

The clean Carfax report shows no accidents and lists registrations in Maryland, Missouri, and Florida with five owners. This seller has a lein for the car’s title, which will need to be paid prior to transferring to the new owner.
