This 2000 BMW M Roadster is powered by a 3.2L inline-six mated to a ZF 5-speed manual transmission and features dealer-installed Dinan performance upgrades including a Vortech supercharger, intake, exhaust, ECU tune, and strut tower brace. The seller purchased the car on BaT in August 2016 and has since driven it approximately 3,000 of its 61k indicated miles. Maintenance completed in preparation for the current sale included a new air mass meter, brake rotors and pads, spark plugs, and thermostat along with a coolant flush, oil change, and more. This M Roadster is offered with service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Cosmos Black, with several close-up photos of the paintwork provided in the gallery below. The left front fender was reportedly replaced under previous ownership due to a deer strike, and the seller will include the damaged panel in the sale. Water spotting is noted along with a paint chip in the front valance.
Chrome Roadstar wheels are mounted with Kumho Ecsta SPT tires. The powered black convertible top is shown raised and lowered in photos. A new antenna was installed by the seller.
The cabin is finished in black and features factory amenities including heated leather seats, keyless entry, and a 6-disc CD changer. Recent work included removal of the glovebox weight and replacement of the seat bushings.
The digital odometer shows 61k miles. The driver’s seat belt guide is cracked but is supported by a Roadster Solutions guide support, and the air conditioning vent cable isn’t operational, but the seller has a new part on order and will either repair it before the sale or include it with the car.
The 3.2L inline-six is equipped with a Dinan supercharger, cold air intake, high-flow throttle body, performance exhaust system, and ECU tune. A Dinan strut tower brace was also part of the upgrade package. The clutch was reportedly replaced in 2013 at 53,400 miles, while recent maintenance included an oil change and coolant flush as well as a new mass air flow sensor and spark plugs.
Several photos are provided to illustrate condition of the chassis, underbody, and suspension components. A Randy Forbes subframe kit was added by the previous owner, and new brake discs and pads were installed by the seller.
The Carfax lists the June 2011 accident as resulting in “very minor damage” and shows a steady mileage increase from new.
