Seller Description

The time has come to sell my toy. A move forces the sale as I will no longer have a private garage to house and maintain the car.  Over the last two years of ownership, I have logged less than 3k miles and have put a significant amount of time and money into the car.. Most maintenance performed by TMJ Bimmers in Houston; subframe and alignment done at M Performance in Spring, TX. Car is garaged and protected from the elements.

99 S52 M Roady - Black on Black - Houston, TX
-Dinan Supercharged - Dinan throttle body, valve cover, strut bar, etc.. Dinan claims 345 Horsepower to the crank.
(installed at 87k but don't have paperwork from PO)
-Dinan exhaust (OEM exhaust included in sale)
-BC Racing BR Coilovers - 32 way adjustable front & rear, front camber/caster adjustable - <1k miles on these
-Randy Forbes subframe fix - labor by M performance - AKG poly subframe bushings
-Reinforced rear sway bar mounts with poly bushings
-e36 diff cover, dual ear w/ poly bushings.
-rear lca eccentric bushings - four wheel alignment done after coilover install
-Kicker 300w 4ohm amp pushing front components and sub - rear speakers driven by head unit
-Newer Alpine head unit w/ IPOD controls
-Kicker 6" sub installed between seats, upgraded 6" components in doors
-Retrofitted OEM headlights - bixenon 3.0, 3" FX-r projectors with Orion shrouds - 50w mishimoto HID from retro-solutions. (3/2014)
-New Stewart Water Pump and fittings (8/13)
-OEM Wind Screen
-New rear window (6/2014)
-Hood and front bumper stripped and re-painted in fall 2013 by M Performance.  A few scratches and nicks apparent from moderate use but paint overall in good shape.

I am more than likely forgetting a number of small upgrades and maintenance items. The car is mechanically very solid and sounds great. TMJ Bimmers can speak to the nature in which this car was treated - it got nothing but the best and was minimally driven. It was initially intended to be a weekend warrior;unfortunately free time has been, and will be, very limited. Having said all of this, the car does have some exterior blemishes that any car of its age will; the body panels aren't perfectly lined up, nicks and scrapes can be found, etc.  Other minor fixes needed but mostly on the interior - typical roadster flaws like seatbelt guides, mirror-adjuster knob, etc. The convertible top is in OK shape - it's not currently connected to power and is manually put up/down.  The hardware for the power top is still in place and functional (to my knowledge).  I can walk through any issues with a potential buyer. Carfax available upon request, as are more pictures.

Older Comments by Jon Martin

It has a lot of high dollar upgrades most notably the Randy Forbes subframe reinforcement and Dinan supercharger. It's obviously been very well cared for too. The front bumper is a bummer.
