The BMW M Roadster was designed to be the performance version of the BMW Z3. The body of the M Roadster varies from the Z3 in that is has different front and rear bumpers, gills, boot and mirrors. Many of the components were beefed upwith the rear suspension being derived from the E30 M3 and the front suspension and brake system being taken from the E36 M3
The interior has a different look to the standard Z3, including making the sport package M-version steering wheel standard on the M and including different instrumentation such as an oil temperature gauge. These vehicles are rare and highly desired by car and performance enthusiasts.
My 1998 BMW M Roadster has been meticulously taken car of. The car originated in Oregon and I am the third owner. I moved the car to Canada for a couple years and then relocated it to Scottsdale, Arizona. It has always been kept in a garage. This car has just over 28K miles.
I replaced the seat bushings as this is a typical problem with these cars. The control for the passenger seat is not working, but I have purchased a replacement part for it. The radio has been replaced with a newer CD BMW radio, but I do have the original still. This car is equipped with A/C, AM/FM radio, cd player, automatic top, cruise control, heated seats, power windows, power brakes, power locks, power seats, anti-lock brakes, driver and passenger airbags, seat belts, leather interior, and aluminum alloy rims and radial tires. The car had a Dinan chip installed when it was originally purchased to increase the horsepower of the engine.
I have really enjoyed owning this car.
