It is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car was originally delivered to Perillo BMW of Chicago, Illinois and was purchased in June 2019 by the seller, who has since reportedly serviced the car with new tires, an oil/filter change, and the replacement of the clutch fan and throttle position sensor. This M Roadster shows 107k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, factory literature, partial service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) and features a black soft top and factory tonneau cover. An accident in August 2005 is listed on the included Carfax report, and the seller notes paintwork to the driver-side quarter panel, trunk, and replacement hood. 17″ Style 40 alloy wheels wear Bridgestone Potenza S04 tires that were reportedly mounted in July 2019. Curb rash on the wheels is noted, as are rock chips on the front of the car. The brake rotors, pads, right-front caliper, and a brake sensor were reportedly replaced in March 2018.
The black Nappa leather interior features power heated seats, air conditioning, power windows, central locking, and a Harman Kardon sound system. A replacement driver-side window regulator was reportedly installed in May 2015.
Instrumentation includes a 9k-rpm tachometer and a 170-mph speedometer with an integrated digital odometer showing 107k miles. The oil temperature gauge in the center console is said to work intermittently, though a replacement unit is included.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six produced 315 horsepower when new and is equipped with Double VANOS variable valve timing. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
