Seller Description

1999 BMW M Roadster with the 3.2L inline 6 cylinder engine.

This is a fun car to drive on the weekends. Its very much a 21 year old car that has been driven and not kept in the garage. It runs great and sounds awesome. This car is perfect for wanting to drive something sporty and enjoying driving with the top down.

Pros:
1. Runs perfectly
2. Replaced clutch with less than 5k miles
3. Low Mileage on the tires
4. Music deck with Bluetooth capability
5. All Cabin speakers replaced expect the bass

Cons
1. Might need a starter replacement
2. Will not pass California Emission testings

The starter might need replacing because if driven for a long time and it gets hot, the car won't turn over until it cools down, indicating a bad solenoid. Also, if the battery isn't quite charged, from not starting for a few weeks, then car won't start without a jump. This isssue has been resolved a bit by my replacement of the battery with one with more starting amps.

The car not passing emissions is due to the car running too rich. I have the catalytic converters changed a few years ago, and no problems clearing Georgia emissions. The check engine light is not coming on.

I really did love owning and driving this car, and its been a fun little project car for me. Unfortunately living in downtown Long Beach has made keeping the car impractical, and so I'm looking for a new home my beloved M roadster.

Quite a few miles and needs some TLC but $4,000? That still seems like a good deal to me.
