This is a 2000 Z3 M Roadster that is mechanically sorted but needs some cosmetic love. Please see all the details below. I'm happy to answer any questions. Text is best. This will make a great canyon carver or drift car for someone. Price is negotiable but be reasonable with offers.
You can see its history here by looking up the VIN: WBSCK934xylc90019

You can see that I'm selling this at a loss once you look at the work I've had done. My intention was to have it cosmetically sorted and ready for the summer but family and other priorities. I have a clean title in hand (I haven't yet done emissions or registered the car in my name). The car will pass emissions (no CEL).
Work that's been done Jan 27 2021 (By mechanic familiar with E36 platform):
- Bosch 7405 Spark Plugs
- Megan Racing Engine and Transmission mounts
- Replaced Air intake hose assembly
- Mahle Air Filter
- Valeo radiator
- Front and rear rotors and brake pads with wear sensors
- Bilstein front shocks
Fluids changed:
- Oil 5W-30 Full synthetic
- BMW Coolant
- Differential fluid
Previous work done
- Tie rods ends and control arms (3/11/2019)
- Throttle bodies (5/9/2019)
- 4 week alignment (5/6/2019)
- Inner/Outer tie rod (5/6/2019)
Issues:
- Driver side mirror broken - I have a fresh replacement that is painted Arctic Silver Grey like the car, these are very expensive to buy - and impossible to find - so will need to include $300 for this mirror if you want it.
- Soft top: Needs to be replaced, (I've asked around SLC and parts labor is 1300 or do it yourself and the top is $300-400). Currently functions manually. The motor works but wiring somewhere along is not working so will need to be checked.
- Paint isn't anywhere near perfect - the car was resprayed by a previous owner - it wasn't the best job with some overspray in areas
- Seats are ripped. They can be reupholstered or likely cheaper to buy a new set online for somewhere around $700
- Miscellaneous plastics bits need to be replaced, arm rest is probably the single most expensive piece around $200 to get a new one
- Driver seat motor is acting up. This is another reason to just buy a whole new seat with a known working motor
