I am the fourth owner. This is the first year M Roadsters were made with the wonderful normally aspirated S54 Engine. Mfr. date 09/01. One of only 921 Roadsters made in '01. Everything original, except Bimmer World SS brake lines installed immediately after I purchased car. Has the optional original BMW detachable fiberglass hardtop made with an electric rear window defroster, and with the original fold up hardtop garage storage rack, along with a fabric car cover. Brake pads installed by previous owner not long before I purchased car, and are still nearly new with minimal wear. New tires at 27,383 miles on 03/15/18. Had all fluids and filters flushed/changed at BMW dealer right after I purchased car, and I have the brake fluid changed professionally every spring. As a precautionary measure, I have had rear sub frame twice inspected for cracks/stress marks by professional tech's (one at BMW dealer), with results that everything is OK as it should be. Meticulously maintained by current owner. Never tracked or autocrossed by me, and not by previous owners to the best of my knowledge. A very clean car inside and outside in all respects. Always garaged by me, never driven in winter and seldom in inclement weather, and to the best of my knowledge, also by previous owners. A CARFAX report indicates the car is registered/licensed in PA where I reside (in NW PA), very close to the NY/PA state line. The M Roadster can be seen and test driven in nearby Cuba, NY (70 miles SE of Buffalo) where I own the garage that I keep the M Roadster in storage.
