Seller Description

1998 BMW M Roadster. Original Texas car with effectively no rust. Not driven in winter/snow since brought up to Connecticut. Good driver, but could use some work.

Only known mechanical issues are:
Throw out bearing starting to make some noise.
Rear drive shaft universal joint starting to make some noise, but I have a good condition complete drive shaft that goes with the car.
The top currently on the car is manual only. The original top with power frame comes with the car. The rear window was damaged, but I have since sourced a replacement zip out window.
Interior while usable has rip in drive seat bottom and wear on bolster.

Upgrades:
Coil over suspension with adjustable springs and shocks all around
Strong Strut chassis stiffeners
UUC EV03 Short shifter kit with Double Shear Selector Rod
Front and rear strut braces

Extras:
Extra set of factory wheels. All are straight and run good, but the rear wheels need to be refinished.
New factor console switch/gauge panel (plastic portion which is cracked on the current one-common defect).
Front calipers and rotors were replaced earlier this year with aftermarket, but I still have the factory original components.
Extra heater/AC controls.
Some other miscellaneous small parts

It is a nice car. You will most probably not find a solid drivable M Roadster for less. I just do not have time for it and would like to see it go to someone who could give it the attention it deserves.

Listing removed; looks like it sold

The mileage is high and it could use some aesthetic TLC, but it gives the impression of having been well cared for. Modification not menaionted in the listing are the head lights, bumper lights, side marker lights, and black kidney grills. The extra set of wheels and center console. The price is fair.
