Seller Description

This 2000 BMW M Roadster has been modified with Dinan performance parts including a supercharger, and is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Finished in Estoril Blue with a dark blue soft top over blue and black Nappa leather, the car came factory-equipped with heated sport seats, 17″ Roadstar wheels, Harman Kardon audio, air conditioning, and cruise control, and it was acquired by the seller in 2010. This M Roadster shows 110k miles and is offered with a service spreadsheet, accompanying records since 2010, a repair manual, a car cover, a Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Estoril Blue Metallic with a dark-blue power-operated soft top. Exterior features include white direction indicator lights, M badging, and M-specific side skirts and bumpers. The Carfax report indicates damage occurring to the rear of the vehicle in August 2010, after which the rear bumper mounting brackets and bumper cover are said to have been replaced. Scratches are visible on the front lip and air dam, and are shown up close in the gallery below.

Staggered-width 17″ Roadstar wheels wear 235/40 front and 255/40 rear Federal 595 RS-R tires. The front suspension has been modified with a Dinan strut tower brace, Ground Control coilovers with adjustable camber plates, and Koni adjustable dampers, while the rear suspension features a 23mm H&R rear sway bar with mounting bracket reinforcements.

The cabin features heated sport seats trimmed in blue and black Nappa leather, with matching door panels along with black carpets and interior plastics. Equipment includes roll hoops, air conditioning, cruise control, a rear windscreen, Harman Kardon audio, and a BMW Business CD head unit with aftermarket iPod connectivity. A removed factory six-disc CD changer is included with the sale.

A leather-wrapped Motorsport steering wheel features blue accents and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Auxiliary instrumentation is located in the center stack and includes an analog clock as well as gauges for battery voltage and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates 110k miles, approximately 54k of which were added by the seller.

The 3.2-liter inline-six has been fitted with Dinan components including a supercharger, a cold air intake, ECU software, and a high-flow throttle body. The seller states that the supercharger unit was refurbished by Vortech in January 2016, and that the mass-airflow sensor and rear oxygen sensors were replaced in September 2020.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with a Dinan Free Flow exhaust system, and the rear subframe bushings, differential mount bushings and differential housing were replaced and the rear subframe was reinforced. The clutch master and slave cylinders were replaced in April 2020, and additional seller-supplied maintenance and service history is provided in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage in August 2010 and lists history in California from new.

Sold to a high bid of $20,695 or $21,729.75 which is pretty crazy for the mileage.

The Dinan supercharger is obviously the highlight, but it has some other good Dinan upgrades along with Koni suspension. The miles are on the higher side but it still looks nice and has had a pretty long-time owner. No bids submitted yet.
