Seller Description

This 2000 BMW M Roadster was sold new at Center BMW of Sherman Oaks, California and was acquired in 2001 by the seller, who has since added approximately 34k of its 45k miles. The car is finished in silver over black Nappa leather, and power is provided by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a power-operated black soft top, heated sport seats, cruise control, and a Harman-Kardon CD stereo. This M Roadster is offered with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Titansilber (354) with a power-operated black soft top. Features include roll hoops, M-logo fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes the left side mirror was replaced and a dent to the surrounding area was repaired, and a tear on the left side of the soft top was patched. The soft top repair, a broken antenna grommet, damage to the driver’s side window seal, and scratches on the lower front bumper cover are documented in the gallery below.

Staggered-width 17″ Roadstar wheels are wrapped in 225/45 and 245/40 Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

The cabin is upholstered in black Nappa leather with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include heated sport seats, a Harman-Kardon CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. The windshield washer nozzles are said to be misaligned, and play in the driver’s seat and distortion from the rear center speaker are noted by the seller.

A leather-wrapped M-Sport steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, while an analog clock, a voltage gauge, and an oil temperature gauge are mounted in the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 45k miles, approximately 34k of which were added by the seller.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was factory-rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Service at Check Point Automotive of Los Angeles, California in August 2019 included replacement of the air intake boot, recharging the air conditioning, and an oil change.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery.

The window sticker shows original delivery to Center BMW of Sherman Oaks, California as well as factory colors, options, and an MSRP of $43,470.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and displays history in California through its most recent entry in May 2020.

No bids yet. It's nice that it has a long owner history and the miles are on the lower side. The Carfax is clean, and it looks to be pretty much all stock.
