Seller Description

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1999 BMW M Roadster for your consideration. Entering production in 1995, the BMW Z3 was a small, two-seat sports car that was a bit more conventional in design than the crazy Z1. Offered in coupe and roadster forms, the Z3 was the first BMW car to be produced outside Germany. A variety of 4 and 6 cylinder engines was offered from the sedan range and was mated to manual and automatic transmissions. The Z3 gained some quick fame when it was James Bond's car of choice in GoldenEye and a rare special edition was even offered. The M performance model was introduced in 1997 and featured the 240hp S52 3.2L straight-six and 5-speed manual transmission. Finished in a classic BMW Titanium Silver Metallic, this car is in great condition. The paint is very nice and the body is straight and has only a few minor imperfections. The exterior is bolstered by the M upgrades including 17in light-alloy wheels. The black convertible top is in great shape and overall the car is very solid. Other upgrades included more aerodynamic wing mirrors, redesigned front and rear bumpers, revised side gill, quad exhausts, and engine and oil temperature gauges in the center console. Within the past three years, this car has had the clutch serviced and the power soft top replaced along with receiving a new coil pack. The black interior features very nice leather seats and tons of M performance logos. The interior shows very little wear and is quite well equipped with power windows, power mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, a Business CD audio system, and a leather-wrapped sports wheel. There is some wear on a few of the plastic parts on the interior trim. It also features an aftermarket luggage rack on the decklid. This car runs and drives very well, with great steering, brakes, and tight suspension. You will not be disappointed by this incredibly fun-to-drive vehicle. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.

It has been a couple years since we last saw this roadster. It has lost the rear luggage rack and the holes in the trunk appears to have been filled and painted. It looks all stock now and in decent shape for the mileage. The price is optimistic for the mileage though.
