Seller Description

This 1999 BMW M Roadster is finished in Imola Red over black Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes a black soft top, a body-color removable hard top, 17″ wheels, power-adjustable heated seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a CD stereo, and Harman Kardon audio. The car was first registered in California and was acquired in 2017 by the seller, who has added 2k of the 16k miles. This M Roadster is offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Imola Red II (405) and features a black soft top, a body-color removable hardtop, fender vents, quad exhaust tips, black roll hoops, and a clamshell hood. The seller notes that rock chips are present on the front of the hood.

Silver-finished 17” Style 40 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, and the brake fluid was changed in preparation for the sale.

The cabin features power-adjustable heated sport seats upholstered in black Nappa leather with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, a BMW Business CD stereo, Harman Kardon audio, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks.

A leather-wrapped, M-branded steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The center stack houses an analog clock along with auxiliary gauges for voltage and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates 16k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added by the seller.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six is equipped with variable valve timing and produced 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change and coolant flush were performed in July 2021 at Chapman BMW On Camelback in Phoenix, Arizona.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California and Arizona.
