Seller Description

This 1999 BMW M Roadster is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black convertible top, 17″ Roadstar wheels, heated seats, an aftermarket intake, a front strut tower brace, and a BMW Business CD stereo connected to an aftermarket amplifier and subwoofer. The car spent time in Indiana and Ohio before it was acquired by the seller in Pennsylvania in August 2021. This M Roadster has 44k miles and is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Pennsylvania in the seller’s name.

Introduced in 1997 as the high-performance variant of the BMW Z3, the M Roadster featured revised body styling that included reworked bumper covers, sculpted rocker panels, M-badged fender vents, black roll hoops, and quadruple exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a power-operated black convertible top.

Staggered-width 17″ Roadstar wheels wear 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Sumitomo HTR A/S P03 tires with 2020 date codes. Stopping power is provided by vented four-wheel disc brakes that were shared with the contemporary E36 M3.

The cockpit features heated and power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black Nappa leather along with matching door panels and carpets protected by M-branded floor mats. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, and a factory cellphone located in the center console. The BMW Business CD stereo is connected to a Diamond subwoofer and its associated amplifier in the trunk.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color Motorsport stitching and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 44k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six is equipped with an aftermarket carbon-fiber air intake and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. An Strong-Strut front strut tower brace and battery maintainer plug have also been installed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

This roadster was on the market back in the summer in Ohio. It only has a few more miles. The clear bumper lights, Strong Strut bar, intake, aluminum pedals, and trunk audio are the only modifications I spot. The factory cell phone is pretty cool too. Bidding up to $12,500.00 so far.
