Up for Sale is my 1998 M Roadster. This is the hottest car I've owned. It may not smoke the Mustang Cobras and Corvettes in a straight run, but you can eat them alive on any curvy road. This vehicle was first introduced in the James Bond movie Golden Eye. This car is very tight and responsive in curves. You won t be disappointed in the straight stretches either with 0-60 in 4.9 and a top speed of 155 (electronically governed at 155). This car looks as good as it runs. I can t say enough about this ride. It rides smooth and fits like a glove. It s a real attention getter. I have well taken care of this car. It s been in a climate controlled garage since it came home. Never been in the snow or on salty roads. What makes the M better than the Z? The M Roadster was designed to be the performance version of the Z3 with significant differences between the two models. The body of the M Roadster had slight differences throughout. Amongst others, a quad pipe exhaust system exited the back, wider tires, with larger rims, were used and in general, the whole car was laid out to cope with the increased performance. Its brakes (with cooling vents in the front section of the car) had larger dimensions, the gearbox was different and the whole body's aerodynamic shape was paying tribute to the higher speeds possible. The Inside..Just as it came for the factory. Power everything. Heated seats, no rips tears or scratches in the leather. Carpet is pristine. Everything is as it should be. Smooth leather seats really fit you snug. You feel like you are part of the car. M sports package includes the oil temp outside temp and clock. tach goes to 9000 speed odometer go to 170mp. AC will freeze you out even with the top down. The tach goes to 9000 but trust me you won t need to take it there. There is plenty of power from 2500-7000 rpm. This car will not disappoint you. 3.2L In-line 6 Cylinder 325 HP. Power to weight ratio comparable to a race car.
