I am selling my 2000 BMW Z3 M ROADSTER. Car is all black, exterior/interior/wheels.
This is the 3.2 liter inline 6cyl S52 engine which puts out 240 HP.
Has 5spd manual transmission,
Limited Slip Rear Dif.
I have replaced the rear Shocks (Bilstein), shock mounts and reinforcing plates to beef up the handling.
Rear Wheels have 25mm spacers on each side to widen the rear end a little more for a bit better cornering.
Staggered 18" Wheels (Rears are wider than the Fronts)
New Rear Tires (a few months old). Tires are a little wider than Fronts, pretty common on higher performance cars.
Front Tires has about 6-9 months tread before replacement depending on how you drive
Top is set up in manual mode, raises and lowers by hand, all hydraulics and motor have been removed to lessen weight, I have all parts to replace the automatic setup. I have raised and lowered the top by hand since I have owned the car. Not a difficult issue to get used to.
The guy I bought the car from is a full on BMW enthusiast, meaning he had only BMW cars in his family, 5 cars in his garage and the Z3 was a 6th that he sold me. When he bought the car and got it home he went through it end to end and replaced everything he found unacceptable with all BMW factory parts except for a broken headlight as BMW charges $1250.00 for 1 headlight. He replaced the Radiator, all cooling lines, Right Front Fender, Hood, Front Bumper, New Brakes all around, pads, rotors and anything else involved. **Along with all the work done by the owner he then went ahead and installed a Rear Subframe Reinforcement package as some models of BMW performance cars in e36 and e46 models when driven hard could develop cracks in the welds in the Rear Subframe.
This is a somewhat expensive and time consuming procedure, somewhere around $3000.00 +
BMW M cars are noticeably different than same designation models i.e. Z3, M3. Engines, Suspension,Steering and more are vastly upgraded.
This car is like its owner, a bit old, not quite as pretty as once was BUT still running strong. Car has 120,000 miles on the clock.
I have owned the car for 5 years, it has been the best car I've ever owned as the driving experience of the M models in their line definitely make all the difference in driving. Now we get to a little more history: This Z3 M has a REBUILT title. This car is NOT A GARAGE QUEEN. This car is for DRIVING, plain and simple, the joy is in getting behind the wheel and driving. Engine is strong, Transmission is all syncro and shifts very positively.
This is the Lowest Priced BMW Z3 M car in good running condition that I've ever seen. I am selling this car because over the last couple years I have found that getting into and out of the car is more difficult for my 75 years.
If you find any of this interesting and would like to know more or have any questions feel free to TEXT or CALL me.
Thank you for reading all this.
