This 2000 BMW M Roadster is one of 725 finished in Imola Red over black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year. It was purchased by the seller on BaT in May 2021, and it has 70k miles following registration history in California. Power is supplied by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and equipment includes silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels, a black convertible soft top, heated sport seats, a BMW Business CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, air conditioning, and cruise control. This M Roadster is now offered with owner’s manuals, service records, a soft top boot, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Imola Red (405), and features include a power-operated black convertible soft top, front fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets. Photos in the gallery detail a damaged portion of the right-rear quarter panel as well as a ding on the driver-side door.
Silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels show curb marks and are mounted with Kumho Ecsta tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. Brake work in June 2021 included resurfacing the rotors and replacing the pads. The power steering and brake fluids were also flushed at that time.
The cabin features black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include roll hoops, air conditioning, cruise control, a BMW Business CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, and power windows. A tear is present on the passenger seat’s bolster.
The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 70k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. It has been outfitted with a Zionsville Autosport radiator. Work in October 2021 included replacing the air filter, fuel filter, and spark plugs. The oil was changed in February 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission fluid was changed in June 2021.
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
