Seller Description

Let me start by saying that this M Roadster looks like a 20-30K mile car. Inside and out the condition is on par with the $30K dollar examples for sale. This is the final version of the Z3 M Roadster and only 1600 were fitted with the 315HP S54 engine in the final 2 years of production. The earlier cars ran the S52 engine that produced 225HP, they look identical, but they are not. The previous owners of this car clearly loved it and great care has been taken to keep it in this condition. All keys are present but the remote is not. Window sticker, book, manuals and the radio code are present. Carfax shows an accident involving both sides of the car. The cars paint and body lines are as good as the factory would have done and I do not believe that the car was damaged very much. This car shows beautifully with no flaws in the correction. The owner clearly kept the car very tidy and he continued to own it for another 2 years following the incident, that says something. Excellent mechanical condition, brakes are recent and oil service was just performed.

I talked to the dealership selling it. He said BMW of Nashville gave it clean bill of health when they first obtained, then after reading my comments on its previous listing, he took it back to a different master tech to look specifically at the subframe. Everything is as it should be.

The previous private listing of this roadster mentioned it had the start of some subframe tearing. It's not mentioned in this new ad. If it hasn't been corrected, the price is very high.
