Seller Description

BMW Z3 M Roadster. M version with 240hp and 5 speed manual. Silver with black interior with 127,000 miles. Project car 90% complete with $4,100 in recent work.

Runs and drives excellent. Had a new clutch around 115,000 miles. I bought the car to fix it up but have lost my parking so must sell. I had a good mechanic go through the car in detail and address anything that needed attention.

Here is a list of what has been done in the last 2500 miles (all documented with receipts):

NEW:
Bilstein HD shocks
Shock mounts
Brake caliper
Clutch master cylinder
Stainless steel brake and clutch lines
Changed all fluids (coolant, oil, differential)
Thermostat
Plugs
CCV and hoses
Custom seat covers

Totaling: $2700

4 new Michilen Pilot Sports: $950
New convertible top: $450

What it needs:
New paint job: Paint is faded on trunk lid with various chips throughout.
Front bumper is cracked at the bottom (you could replace or fix)
An alignment
The automatic convertible top mechanism is not working after the top change. I prefer to lower and raise the top manually (faster) so I have not fixed but was working before the new top went on.

This car is a great candidate for a dip or a wrap. It is mechanically excellent and with the new tires and upgraded suspension it hugs the road. All it needs is some external cosmetic attention. This is a great opportunity to get into an M car that has been vetted at a great price and make it your own.

Thanks for looking.

Quite a bit of recent maintenance. The paint is extremely rough though, and the seat covers are very difference than stock.
