Seller Description

2000 BMW convertible M Roadster Z3

This is an exceptional car!   It LOVES to be driven, excellent cornering.

Very Good to Excellent condition.

Garage kept- NO RUST.

Only 88,000 miles

Fast 3.2 L 6 cylinder M class engine with 5 speed transmission- both imported from BMW's German performance factory.  Engine, transmission, and clutch are as smooth as a baby's bottom!

Factory traction control.  This car LOVES cornering!

Cold A/C. heat.

Power, heated two-tone racing seats - beautiful and very comfortable.

Powers windows and power soft-top

I keep this car tight!  Recently replaced OEM brake pad and rotors, DieHard AGM battery, new HD stereo, new speakers, old headlights replaced with halo headlights, and more!

CD stereo with HD radio, MP3 and USB port for all your music.  Has a 50 Watt Bazooka BASS speaker in the trunk!

60-70% wear left on Bridgestone high performance run-flat tires

Power soft-top roof with new rear window

All fluids are synthetic Mobil 1, or BMW preferred fluids.  I have records of fluid types, and when last changed.  OEM Bosch spark plugs recently changed. I had the oil tested by Blackstone Laboratories when I purchased it, stating that the engine is excellent. It was also compression tested before purchasing.

You could drive it across country - no problem.  Engine is like new.

From Wikipedia...

"In the 5 years from 1998 to 2002, approximately 15,000 M Roadsters were produced for both European and North American markets. This is compared to the 300,000 standard Z3s produced in the same time frame. This makes them very rare and highly desired by car and performance enthusiasts."

Like a BMW mechanic told me, "If you want a Z3, get an M.  If you want an M, get a 2000."  Reason being is that the cast iron engine block used in 2000 was the most reliable.  When BMW started to use aluminum, alloys, and other tricks to get a few more horsepower, the engines became less dependable, i.e. more problems.

Price is $14,000 firm, which is what I paid for it a few years ago, and I'm not even including the upgrades. Don't want to sell but I needed to buy a work truck more than a need a weekend car.

Check my feedback!  This is a 15 year old car, so there is a little blemish here and there, but nothing major and NO repairs needed.

It's a HEAD TURNER! You will be VERY happy with this car.

Sounds like it's been well taken care of with lots of recent maintenance and records. AutoCheck shows a left rear impact way back in August 2000. The price is still probably fair given it's overall condition.
