Seller Description

I bought this car with the intention of never, ever selling it but lifes circumstances have drastically changed. I own 2 M Roadsters and also a 1990 535i with only 65k. Im a long time enthusiast. I got hooked in 1989 while stationed in Germany driving a euro spec M6 on the autobahn. Nothing but BMW's ever since. That being said...i've put both my roadster on Ebay for sale. Whichever sells first i keep the other. My daughter has been accepted to Auburn and my wife has decided to return to school for her Masters degree. 2 tuitions force sale.

If u are looking at this car then you know what it is. If you are an enthusiast such as i am then you know also just how rare it is. Only 32 produced for NA in Evergreen with the green and black interior and ive never seen one in a hardtop. EVERYWHERE i go people literally gawk at this car and ask what it is. Even a lil old lady at Lowes Sunday said how unique and beautiful it was.

I am the 3rd owner. 1st was a Canadian officer who bought the car in Germany through the military buyers program. The car is US Specs. 2nd owner was an Air Force officer who bought it while in Germany and owned it for 15yrs. He was being stationed in North Dakota and i bought from him in San Antonio.

I have all the maintenance records for the car to include the original bill of sale and the change purse from tbe dealer that they gave the original owner. Perfect for the historical tracing of the car. I also have all original keys issued. Car also has the original sticker on the trunk mat and first aid kit. The car is bone stock except for the clear lighting facelift. It runs and drives perfect and has been well maintained. All panels are original. No paint work but the car is not concourse.

FLAWS: The car has some minor paint chips. A ding beside the front grill but PDR is fixing that tomorrow and redying the drivers seat bolster. There are some minor scratches on the hard top and mild paint oxidation in some areas. The PDR guy who owns a detail shop said for $400-$500 he could do a mild paint correction on it and it would look like it new. Personally i have left it as is being afraid somebody would mess it up. The front bumper has a small crack on the bottom passenger side. Previous owner said it was done during shipping from the military. He got a settlement for it but never fixed it. Passenger window switch has pushed down into the console. The little harness that holds the switch broke. The switch still works fine though. Easy fix just havent got to it. Wheels have a few very minor dings. Im trying to be extremely honest about everything i can think of. Everything works on the car as it should. I am an enthusiast and retired Army. I dont like surprises and dont want the buyer to have any either.

I have the luggage rack for the car but removed it and currently have the BMW plugs in the mounting holes. I felt it retracted from the beautiful lines of the car. I can reinstall if you wish. Luggage rack comes with the car.

Other than these few things the car is perfect. Runs like new. Honestly. I cant stress enough how rare this car is and it pains me to sell this car and i truly hope my other M roadster sells first.

I will help the buyer with shipping the car but shipping is at buyers expense. I am also willing to meet the buyer at the Atlanta airport if needed. Car is totally road trip worthy.  It was driven from TX to AL w/o issue.

Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Price reduced to $18,500 from $20,900 which is a decent deal with the hardtop and color combo

I just posted this sellers alpine white roadsters as well which he mentions in the listing. He's definitely an enthusiast and is very honest in the listing. With the hardtop, I think the price seems fair.
