Seller Description

I am listing my lovely 1999 BMW M Roadster for sale. I purchased this car in the early summer from a bimmerforums member in IL. Flew out to Chicago and drove this car back to Maryland where it currently resides. This car has a great body, completely straight, drives fantastic and turns heads. Super reliable and in my opinion 100% ready for anything you throw at it. I would not hesitate to drive it across country and back. During my ownership, the roadster has always been garage kept, never seen snow and seldom any rain (only when unavoidable). No rust of any kind. I have a number of vehicles, and I care for them as if they were my own children (which they are). Maintenance wise, nothing has been neglected or left out. From the moment I owned this vehicle, until the day it leaves my possession, I will always perform each and every upgrade/repair beyond requirement.

This vehicle is tastefully modified, but not beyond the point of bringing it back to stock if so desired.

The car was purchased with 100K on the clock and currently has 116K

Full breakdown of parts, mods and services performed in the last 10K-12K miles:

Over $19000 (yes $19000 withe receipts to show) has been put in this car since 2012

Engine:

·         Internally stock S52 motor with S52 manifold
·         V-F Engineering Supercharger V3 running 6psi (non intercooled)
·         Raceland headers custom fitted with v-band joint exhaust 2.5” dual pipes with x pipe
·         Vibrant dual mufflers (no cats in the exhaust system)
·         New oem ignition coils replaced at 110K miles
·         New valve cover gasket at 108K miles
·         New oem cam/crank sensors at 108K miles
·         Technique Tunning custom tune (stock maf and VF green injectors, tune capable of 8psi)
·         306whp and 267wtq
·         New OEM motor mounts
·         New power steering pump

Cooling:

·         S54 coupe radiator
·         S54 oil filter housing with front mount setrab oil cooler (oil temps stay at 190-200 degrees on hottest days)
·         Stewart high flow water pump
·         Bimmerworld low temp Tstat
·         New hoses and belts

Chassis/suspension

·         New front control arms and bushings (at 104K miles)
·         Koni yellow shocks all around (adjustable)
·         H&R street springs
·         Rear Ireland Engineering sub-frame bushings
·         New rear trailing arm bushings (oem)
·         Randy Forbes sub-frame reinforcement (professionally done locally in Chicago)
·         New inner and outer tie rods
·         Aligned perfectly with -1.7 camber front and -2.2 or so in the rear (0 toe front and back)

Transmission/driveline:

·         New OEM clutch replaced at 104K miles
·         New OEM dual mass flywheel at 104K miles
·         Shift pin service performed at the same time (shifts perfect and no lean)
·         Rear seal replaced
·         3.73 rebuilt differential with dual ear mount (25% lock up)

Wheels:

·         CCW LM20
·         18x9 front with 235/40/18 Hankook V12 tires (tons of life left)
·         18x10 rear with 285/30/18 Hankook V12 tires (brand new, just replaced 3 weeks ago)
·         Admittedly, the wheel centers were anodized and the finish came off. Now the surface has some staining. This is possible to clean and fix, I just don’t have the time.

Interior/audio

·         Momo 350 3” dish steering wheel (car came with a hideous 95m3 wheel that needed to be replaced)
·         M pedals
·         Mason Engineering Short throw clutch pedal (and all bushings replaced at the same time) no creaks
·         Pioneer Bluetooth head unit
·         Focal speakers all around
·         Custom sub enclosure in trunk
·         Custom mounted amplifiers (JL AUDIO TOP OF THE LINE)
·         Glovebox sag fixed
·         ZHP 5 speed shift knob
·         Seat guide bushings replaced (seats do not move on their own)

HARDTOP that is in beautiful condition!!

I’m sure there is more but that’s the major rundown. The cliff notes are: Supercharged, Randy Forbes Sub Frame reinforced, custom 18” CCW wheels, custom $3000 sound system.

It’s a clean title car, and the title is in my possession.

Cons:
·         the AC buttons on the center console have seen better days along with a small piece of trim that separates the soft top actuator button
·         Windows stick a little. I don’t know if it’s the regulator or the sliders, but they need a little push downward to slide open.

This is a turnkey M roadster that moves! This car has never been tracked or abused (as you can tell). This is not a project and needs absolutely nothing except fluid changes.

Please ask any questions you may have.

Thank You for your interest. Bid with Confidence!

It seems to be a different seller, but it's about the exact same description and photos as when it sold 2 months ago for $13,200. The new price is pretty optimistic.
