Seller Description

Up for sale is my gently used 1998 Bostongruen Metallic/Dark Grey BMW Z3MRoadster. It is 1 of 36 in this configuration. It currently has 121,000 miles, most of which have been strictly freeway miles in my possession. I have owned this car as of August 17th, 2015. It is an amazing little car and an absolute blast to drive with the top down and up. This car has been completely babied and I rarely shifted over 4000 RPM. The S52 engine has amazing low end torque. This car makes 240Hp/ 236Tq and is very quick for it's size. I daily drove this car 60 miles each day for work and have never had a more fun car to drive, even on the freeway. It constantly gets thumbs up and looks whenever it is driven. I have owned many BMWs and do all my own work on restoring and building BMWs.

The previous owner of the car is/was very active in the Z3Mroadster/Mcoupe community. He sold the car to me with 107,000 miles. The car belonged to his family and was not his first MRoadster that was owned by him. He took amazing care of the car. The paint is in beautiful condition. The only imperfections are on the front end and a couple rock chips common to these roadsters. I was going to have the front end resprayed because of the rock chips, but never got around to it.

Maintenance :
Every maintenance item has been documented by myself. Maintenance has always been a highly sought concept after with every car I have ever owned. All maintenance parts have been replaced with OEM or better items. After the purchase of the MRoadster, I immediately combed over the car and made sure that the "achilles heel," of the chassis were fixed or checked on the condition.
The cooling system has been completely gone over, with the common "mechanical-fan-delete" mod. This includes the implementation of a Stewart High Performance Water Pump, 80C Fan Switch, 80C Thermostat, Aluminum Thermostat Housing, Aluminum Water Pump pulley, and OEM Blue Coolant Mixed 50:50 with Distilled Water. This is a tried and true platform and never gave me any issues while sitting in traffic in 115* weather.
The PCV and all gaskets have also been replaced, along with the rubber tubing and PCV plastic tubing. The ICV has been cleaned and gasket also replaced. Both oil changes have been done with BMW 5w30 Full Synthetic Oil and OEM Oil Filter kits.
I replaced all of the Accessory Belts, pullies, and Shock Tensioners. The rubber transmission mounts have been also been replaced. Brand new fuel filter and fuel pump has also been added. The windshield has also been replaced with OEM glass because of the pitting of being 17 years old. It is an amazing feeling to look out of a brand new windshield. The car does have a couple pitted rear subframe welds. It was sold to me with them, and they have not translated to anything worse. I have kept an eye on them and no further damage has occurred. He mentioned that the car has had them for quite a long time. I have looked underneath the car and there is no damage underneath along the subframe or differential mount. Emissions are valid until August 2017.

Modifications:
The car has only a couple of tasteful modifications done to the car. The items that were used on this car were always the upmost quality and proven within the community. This includes Motorsport Hardware 78mm Bullet Style Studs, Black Anodized Motorsport Hardware Steel Racing Nuts, and Motorsport Hardware Tracklite Spacers (12mm Front, 20mm Rear). The parts are all high quality pieces made in the United States. The Tracklite Spacers are incredibly light and machined perfectly.
The car also has the Aluminum Motion Motorsport Z3M under panel. This allows the air to flow perfectly into the radiator instead of underneath the car. It also increases the aerodynamics of the car as it allows it to slip through the air without turbulence. The car also has Koni Single Adjustable Struts/Shocks on all four corners with the MRoadster Springs. The car feels incredibly solid for it being 17 years old.
The wheels were recently refinished in Hyper Silver when I purchased the car, and the tires still have 75% life on them.
The audio consists of a Kenwood 5 channel Amp and a JVC Head unit. The head unit allows the use of Bluetooth calling and Audio. It also allows the use of USB and AUX. I chose this head unit because of the fact that it not flashy and contains many features that I wanted. The audio sounds great and crisp, which is usually a complaint for roadster owners. The interior consists of ZHP Knob, Short Shifter, and Seat Reclining Mod. The car will also come with the Plexiglass Wind Blocker. The top is OEM and original. It does not leak but it is starting to look worn. The rear zip-in window is new from E-miata.

This car is a blast to drive, only reason for the sale is because it is a 2nd car and I am looking to free up some additional funds for a home purchase. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Price is $9,500 or best reasonable offer.

I will update with better photo's, hopefully tomorrow

Still looks nice with just a few more miles. It had a lot of maintenance done last year which is a big plus. The price seems fair.
