Seller Description

For sale very rare 2001 BMW M Roadster Z3M with the original 315hp S54 engine. Only 1,600 M Roadsters were made for the US market with the legendary S54 engine, which was also installed in the M3 cars. Only 52,100 miles. Black on black. The car is in very good shape. Very clean. No mechanical issues whatsoever, no error codes showed up when scanned with BMW software. It spent most of its life in Virginia. The biggest cosmetic issue is the scratch which has been touched up on the driver-side door. A picture shows it. But you cannot see it easily unless someone looks very closely. Everything works, the engine and transmission run smooth. No valve adjustment is needed. Clutch is good. No subframe weld issues or saggy glovebox, which are common issues for these vehicles. Brand new soft top was installed by a professional shop this year (best quality option was selected to ensure original quality). The wheels are in excellent condition, they have been recently refinished. Brand new genuine leather seat covers with custom 'M' logo engraved into the head rest. New genuine leather shift boot and hand brake boot. New floor mats. Recent maintenance included new tires (only about 1,500 miles), new brakes, new battery. Car needs nothing! I'm the 3rd owner. Clean car fax, no accidents whatsover. The electric top works well. Car was recently detailed.

The car is a blast to drive and it handles very well. Never abused. I have clear title in hand. Don't miss out on this beautiful car that is in exceptional condition!

No trades. Accepting reasonable offers. Local pickup only. I don't need help selling this car, so please don't contact me unless you want to buy the car!

Back on the market after a few months. The wheels have been refinished and a new soft top put on sicne it's previous listing. The imola red hard top appears to be gone now. Price up a little to $23,900 from $23,250 which is a decent deal.

It looks like a nice, stock M Roadster. The only modifications I see are the ZHP shift knob and ///M logos on the seats. The glove box is sagging a little, but it looks pretty good overall.
