Only 8,938 cars produced in North America. Just Google it. A very desirable Roadster. Manual 5 speed performance M package. THIS IS NOT THE MASS PRODUCED Z3 ROADSTER. (Shorter, wider, w/ reinforced road rally suspension, higher horsepower engine. Great shape for a car of its age. Car Fax available. Comes with 160.00 fitted BMW all weather car cover. I will also throw in new neoprene full form custom cut seat covers for free. (paid 175.00) $9,200.00 WILL CONSIDER TRADE FOR ANOTHER BMW.
NOTE: I have all the previous owners service records and he seemed to keep the car serviced at a BMW authorized service center.
A car fax check shows the car was in two minor fender benders. I figured as much when I saw the car's headlights looked brand new, no haze, unusual for a 18 year old car. The electric operation of the roof is not working, I never messed with it, as you know, your can raise and lower it with one hand. Driver's door handle has come loose at the top of the handle...easy fix. I also have the kit for the sagging glove compartment that common for Z3's, another easy fix, but I have neglected to do so. I've got brand new neoprene form fitting seat covers I'll throw in for free. (175.00) I just did an oil change at the local BMW dealership not even 100 miles ago and got that paper work. They suggested synthetic oil. So you're good on the oil. To me if it runs good, looks good, sounds good.....I'm good! The accidents seem to be superficial body work because I can't find where the damn repairs were made! Everything seems to be original. No abnormal tire wear, but they are new tires. Cranks right up and runs very smooth and still feels tight in the transmission and steering. The top is in great shape, I doubt it is the original. The plastic rear window does have some hazing but there is no problem with rear view. I've only had the car since the past summer. Bought it on a whim after reading about their desirability. But my wife hates getting in and out of it. I'll be honest, she hates the car because it is a small two-seater. We are semi-retired and she says it's a luxury we don't need. Women.... Also, if I had a garage to keep it in I would not sell it. I do keep it waxed, polished and factory covered and it's only seen the sunshine with me. But it sits under the cover for a week at a time not being driven. I should lose the wife and keep the car but we have two other vehicles and a Harley. I have a son that just turned 16 and a sports car in the driveway is not helping my insurance rates. It is an 18 year old car, but if you research it, these engines are good for 250,000 miles if maintained. Come see it, it's a fun car. And guys, please don't ask me about internal car parts! I want to meet the guys who randomly take their cars apart to inspect internal parts. There are no weird noises or fluid leaks and she runs smooth as silk. I've listed what I know that has been replaced. Nothing has been modified to my knowledge. The real question is, "Do you want a cool car that's actually affordable? My property taxes were only 42.00 on this car. Thanks for your interest!
PS WIFE WANTS THIS CAR GONE! I'm dropping the price to 9,200.00 firm this week.
