Seller Description

This 2001 BMW M 2 Door Convertible (Stock # P10343) is available in our Pleasanton, CA showroom.

Exceptional Limited Edition 2001 BMW M Roadster

New to our Pleasanton showroom is this impeccably maintained 2001 BMW M roadster (also known as the Z3M) with the 3.2L S54B32 engine. Manufactured for 2001 - 2002 model years only, only 1600 were produced for the North American market making this car exceptionally rare and collectible. This example is in excellent condition from top to bottom and has service history dating back to 2005 and 42,000 miles. Recent maintenance includes Valve adjustment by BMW specialist. Originally sold in Arizona, this car came to California in 2005 where it has lived ever since, as such the body is in excellent shape and there are absolutely no rust issues.

Super Clean Inside & Out w/ 110,250 Lifetime Miles

This 2001 BMW M Convertible has remained mostly stock apart from a few select upgrades to improve drive-ability such as brand new adjustable coil overs, stainless steel brake and clutch lines, weighted short shifter and alpine stereo with removable face and smart phone connectivity. The stock stereo and shift knob will be included in the sale.  In addition, this sports car comes with the stock tonneau cover, wind breaker, factory tool kit and factory tire repair kit with electric pump.
This is truly a superb driving BMW, not only did it out perform M3's of the era, it also proved to be more reliable than the M3 and was not plagued by the rod bearing issues that its big brother experienced.  It’s also interesting to note that not only did they introduce the upgraded engine for 2001, this was also the first year that traction control was included.  Given that this model is in exceptional condition throughout with only the slightest signs of wear, the next owner should have many years of enjoyment.

Extensive Service Records Dating Back to 2005

Overall this 2001 BMW M Convertible a superb example that drives as good as it looks.  You will not find a more pristine example anywhere at this asking price so don’t let a fantastic opportunity slip away.  Come see this awesome roadster in person today!  For more information about this impressive vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # P10343 as well.

This was recently for sale privately for a few dollars less. The Ground Control coilovers are a big plus. The price seems very fair.
