Seller Description

You are looking at an extremely rare 2001 BMW M Roadster S54 finished in a beautiful Imola red paint. The interior is the perfect mix of red and black leather while the exterior is properly equipped with a black soft top. The consistent scarcity of these vehicles is truly incredible but to find one in this color is even more difficult. Between February of 2001 and May of 2002 (THE S54 ENGINE) only 1,600 were produced for sale in North America. This engine enhancement provides the M Roadster with 315 horsepower and the brakes for the S54 models were improved as well. It is a two owner car with low miles and one that was religiously serviced . Inside and out, this is a very clean car with no stories. It is accident and damage free with a clean Carfax and Autocheck. All four tires are new with less than 100 miles on them, ready to take you through any driving terrain you desire. A Kenwood in-dash was installed to give it qualities of Navigation, Satellite Radio, and iPod Integration. It is also highly optioned from the factory to make for one of the most enjoyable driving experiences. As with all M vehicles, this roadster has the sport seats for unbelievable comfort while taking advantage of the performance. Please feel free to come inspect this car or have it inspected by any third party. Also, feel free to contact me with any questions. I will gladly assist with any transportation that may need to be accommodated. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

My Comments

Sold 5/11/12 - Listing was deleted, so it looks like it sold.

4/22/12 Update - Price reduced to $19,900

4/20/12 Update - Evidently not sold as it's now on AutoTrader for $21,300

Sold 4/19/12 - Sold to a high bid of $18,500

4/18/12 Update - Reserve has been met at $18,500 which is still a decent deal.

This roadster was just purchased on Ebay for $17,600 at the end of February from California. Not sure what the reserve price is this time around. The seller is using the photos and almost the same description (now two-owner) from the previous listing. The Ebay username is not the same as the winning bidder of the previous auction.
