This 2000 BMW M Roadster is finished in Alpine White over black Nappa leather upholstery and is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes a black convertible soft top, a BMW Business CD stereo, a Harmon Kardon Hi-Fi sound system, air conditioning, cruise control, heated sport seats, and 17″ staggered-width wheels. The car was first registered in Tennessee and later spent time in Oklahoma, where it was acquired by the seller in October 2017. Work performed under current ownership is said to have included refinishing the wheels as well as installation of KW coilovers and a replacement camshaft position sensor, door handle trim, and hood and decklid roundel emblems. This M Roadster has 38k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, a tool kit, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oklahoma title.
The car is finished in Alpine White (300) and features a power-operated black convertible soft top. Additional exterior details include a wind deflector, a fixed antenna, fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets. The windshield, door handle trim, and hood and decklid roundel emblems were reportedly replaced under current ownership. The front bumper has been drilled for a license plate, and paint blemishes are shown up close in the gallery below.
Staggered-width 17″ Style 40 wheels were refinished under current ownership and are wrapped in Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. KW V1 coilovers were reportedly installed under current ownership.
The cabin features power-adjustable heated sports seats upholstered in black Nappa leather with a matching dash, center console, and carpets. Amenities include a BMW Business CD stereo, a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi sound system, air conditioning, cruise control, M-branded floor mats, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat, and the subwoofer is not working.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. An analog clock and gauges for voltage and oil temperature are mounted in the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 38k miles, approximately 5k of which have been added by the seller.
The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was last carried out in May 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Tennessee and Oklahoma. There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
