Seller Description

This 2000 BMW M Roadster was purchased new by the seller and has remained registered in California since where its 59k indicated miles have been added. The car is powered by a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Estoril Blue over Estoril Blue and black Nappa leather. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black convertible soft top, 17″ Style 40 wheels, a Harman Kardon sound system, air conditioning, a Pioneer stereo, and a Dinan front strut tower brace. April 2022 service reportedly included installing a seat rail bushing kit and replacing the serpentine belt, rear shock mounts, radiator hoses, and thermostat and housing. This M Roadster is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

This M Roadster is one of 762 finished in Estoril Blue over Estoril Blue and black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year. Features include a power-operated black convertible soft top, front fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes a worn lower rear window seal as well as loose front soft top bows.

Silver-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that show date codes from 2017-2020. The car is equipped with Automatic Stability Control and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs. The seller states that the rear shock mounts were replaced in April 2022.

The cabin features Estoril Blue and black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats, door panel inserts, and center console. Amenities include a wind deflector, roll hoops, air conditioning, and cruise control. A Bluetooth-capable Pioneer CD stereo is fitted and hooked to a replacement Harman Kardon subwoofer and speakers. April 2022 work is said to have consisted of reattaching the driver’s seat backrest adjustment cable, installing a seat rail bushing kit, repairing climate control switchgear, and realigning the glovebox. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat.

The M-branded leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 59k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S52B32 inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. A Dinan strut tower brace is fitted and 2021 work included replacing the battery and changing the oil. Service completed in April 2022 is said to have included a coolant flush and replacing the serpentine belt, thermostat and housing, and upper and lower radiator hoses.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The driveshaft flex coupler was reportedly replaced in April 2022.

Service records, the removed factory stereo, a windshield sunshade, and a tonneau cover are included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in California with one owner since new.

The one owner history is cool. It seems to be stock aside from the audio and Dinan strut bar. I like the license plate too. It's in really nice shape overall.
