Looking to sell my 2001 M Roadster. Only 78 Z3M Roadsters (and 41 coupes) were made in LSB. Per data from the M Roadster Buyers Guide website, only five LSB cars came with the hardtop from the factory. Of those five, this is the only one with black/gray interior making the car a true one of one. I am the second owner and purchased in 2015 with 45k miles. 123xxx miles now, rod bearings done by BMW of Springfield MO (the original selling dealership) at 99k. BE coated bearings with OEM bolts.Full suspension replacement done with Bilstein shocks/struts, H&R springs and all bushings done within the last 5000 miles. I just had the car fully PDR'd to remove all the little dings. Rare Dinan "potato shooter" mufflers (original mugflers included), Euro catless headers (original headers with cats included). Will NOT pass smog checks in states that require that due to cats. CEL comes on and off (mostly on) due to catless headers. Wheels were refinished in a hyper silver color as the original chrome shadow finish is difficult to match. Prince Wheel in NC supposedly can do it but I didn't want to ship my wheels and like the silver too. I have addressed every single mechanical issue I have come up against and have $25,000 in receipts for parts and labor over my ownership. There is a minor damage incident on the CarFax. Original owner said a pick-up truck with a low tow hitch backed into the car in a parking lot, necessitating a new front bumper. The hard top appears to have been painted at some point although the dealership and first owner deny any knowledge of such. Possibly it was damaged in shipping. The car is not perfect and is a great driver quality. Price is $29,900. Feel free to PM me with any questions.
EDIT: I got the hard top off and have added some pics of the soft top. There is a line in the rear window that appears to be on the inside of the plastic window. I think it's from where the plastic rubs up against something when the top is down. I rarely drive it top up so it's never bothered me. There is a small amount of stitching that has come loose around the bottom left of the window. It's shown in the pics.
