Here's a rare one. Spring has arrived, and this 2001 Phoenix Yellow M Roadster has sprung. This Canadian vehicle represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I have owned both generations of M Coupe, and this roadster has been my favorite by far. But the sea is calling, and it must go.
This car is not perfect. But, it has never been raced or autocrossed, and has been meticulously maintained, only having driven ~ 30,000km in the past ten years by me the third owner. The second owner kept meticulous records, and I've done my best. With 191,000km (118k miles) she still drives fantastically and runs flawlessly—a testament to the maintenance and driver's history.
With all original bodywork (some repaint has been required in 3 separate rear bumper accidents of less than $1k each) and original chrome shadow wheels, which have seen better days. The vehicle has been lowered with period-correct Bilstein suspension and H&R springs. Speaking of being period correct, you can't forget the Clarion Ungo alarm & remote keyless entry, which was correctly installed with soldered connections in 2005 and has worked flawlessly without false alarms or issues. There is a front strut brace, and the stereo has been modified with an amplifier and speakers (which could use refreshing) But you won't be listening to the radio with that S54 under the hood.
Located in Victoria, BC, Canada and offered at $30,000 CAD.
