Owned this vehicle since 2003, we are the third (?) owners, it’s been garage kept and well maintained. Everything electrical works, the engine and transmission are in decent shape considering the car’s age, the cosmetics do need work but nothing super serious. Major repairs under my ownership include full suspension replacement with the H&R lowering spring kit (shocks, springs, bushings, tie rods) and replacing the hydraulic systems for the power roof. Fluids were done 2/27/24, oil+filter done around the same time. Car is stock except suspension.
Cosmetic Flaws
- Exterior Paint (rock chips, swirls, door dings, rear bumper scratches)
- Torn Driver’s seat & broken seatbelt guide
- Missing trim panel over subwoofer
- Blown speakers
- Radio volume knob doesn’t work
- Glove box is loose
- Center console is loose
- Intermittent folding roof button
Mechanical Flaws
- VANOS rattle at low rpm
- Worn syncros & clutch
- Small vacuum leak
