Seller Description

2000 BMW Z3 M Roadster Convertible – Rebuilt Title (Great Driving Sports Car!)
For sale is a 2000 BMW Z3 M Roadster, a classic two-seat performance convertible that delivers iconic styling, agile handling, and an engaging driving experience. This particular example comes with a rebuilt title, and is being sold as-is at a competitive price, reflecting its title status.

Overview & Highlights
The BMW Z3 M Roadster is the high-performance version of the Z3 lineup, designed for enthusiasts who want both open-top fun and serious driving dynamics. Powered by BMW’s potent straight-six engine and featuring a balanced chassis with rear-wheel drive, this roadster is a standout among classic sport convertibles.

Key Features

  • Engine: 3.2L inline-6 performance engine (S52, depending on market) known for smooth power delivery and strong mid-range torque
  • Transmission: 5-speed manual gearbox — a highly sought-after choice for driving purists
  • Drivetrain: Rear-wheel drive, lightweight design for sharp handling and responsive steering
  • Convertible Soft Top: Fully functional manual soft top that lowers for open-air cruising
  • Exterior Style: Classic long hood and compact roadster profile, alloy wheels, dual exhaust tips
  • Interior: Sport seats with supportive bolstering, driver-focused cockpit, analog gauges, air conditioning, power accessories

Condition & Title Status

This vehicle has a rebuilt title, indicating it was previously damaged and professionally repaired. It’s important to be transparent about this status — the car has been restored to roadworthy condition, but the title reflects its history. The rebuilt title typically means:

  • The car was involved in an accident or sustained damage in the past
  • It underwent repair and inspection to be legally titled for driving
  • It may have a lower market value compared to clean-title examples

Despite the title designation, the car is drivable and enjoyable, offering classic BMW performance at a fraction of the typical cost for a Z3 M Roadster.

Mechanical & Cosmetic Notes

  • Engine & Performance: The straight-six runs smoothly with good throttle response and no known major mechanical issues
  • Transmission & Clutch: Manual gearbox shifts well; clutch engaging normally
  • Suspension & Brakes: Sport-tuned suspension feels solid and responsive; brakes bring the car to a confident stop
  • Body & Paint: Cosmetic wear consistent with age and previous damage; repaired areas present and secure
  • Interior: Seats and dashboard show normal wear; all gauges and controls are functional
  • Exterior: Minor blemishes as expected for the year

We last saw this roadster for sale last year. This may the same seller, but I can't tell for sure. The rebuilt title is unfortunate, but it doesnt' really show it. It's mostly stock besides the aftermarket bumper lights, audio, and ZHP shift knob. The price seems alright.
