Seller Description

Selling a highly complete, unmolested 1999 BMW M Roadster in classic Arctic Silver Metallic over Black Nappa leather. This car features the highly reliable 3.2L S52 inline-six engine paired with a crisp 5-speed manual transmission. It currently sits at 117,500 miles and is in good cosmetic and mechanical condition.  Purchased car from my neighbor in 2017 with 106,000 miles.  He purchased it 10 years before that in 2007.

This vehicle has been highly preserved and includes rare factory extras often missing from other Z3Ms on the market.

The Highlights:

  • Soft-Top/Car Cover: In excellent condition. No rips, leaks, or tears. Rear window is clear and unclouded.  Indoor use car cover included for winter storage.
  • Tires/Battery: Matching set only 4 years old with less than 4,000 miles on them. Deep tread and ready to drive.  Battery replaced 1 year ago.
  • Brake & Clutch Slave Cylinder Hoses: Replaced 4 years ago along with updated clutch slave cylinder pipe.
  • Other Maintenance Performed: New Guide bushing for drivers front seat, steering wheel slip ring, fuel filter, air filters, spark plugs. All performed since I purchased the car.
  • Complete Documentation: Comes with BOTH original factory keys and the complete original owner’s manual packet.
  • Factory Extras: Includes the rare, original leather soft-top boot cover and the factory trunk-mounted multi-CD changer.

Condition Notes:
The interior leather is clean, and the body shines beautifully. The car runs, shifts, and drives exactly as an M car should. Please note that I do not have documented service history for the cooling system or VANOS from the previous owner; the car is priced accordingly to reflect its status as an honest, highly complete driver. Trunk floor and spot welds are solid.  According to CARFAX the vehicle was involved in an incident in November 2003 in which there was damage to the left side of the car. It passed a safety inspection after repair.  In July 2019, during the time I owned it, an individual clipped the front bumper while the car was stationary in a parking lot. I simply had the front bumper assembly replaced.

Clean title in hand. Serious inquiries only. No trades.

I like the simple history, and it looks to be stock besides the shift knob and brake lever. It looks to be in pretty good condition overall. The price seems ok.
