Seller Description

For sale is my beloved 1999 BMW M Roadster. I have owned the car for the past 5 years, and I am the third owner. The second owners were a nice couple that I bought it from privately in Louisiana; they had only used it as a weekend car and kept it garaged (as did I). Since I bought the car it has been my daily driver and it has only left me stranded one time (clutch master cylinder failure). For an 18 year old car, I would call that extremely reliable.

I have spent a small fortune doing maintenance and repairs on the car. I have attached my excel sheet which documents all the repairs and upgrades I have done with mileage and dates.

As I mentioned, the car is a daily driver and it is in good condition. Honestly to be a 9/10 it would need the front clip resprayed. The front bumper has wear (scratches, gouges, touch-up paint) and the hood has a 9” scratch as well. The rest of the body has very small imperfections including rock chips and small dents but is a solid 9/10. The wheels have no curb rash as they were recently powdercoated, but the finish has some imperfections from my increasingly-long highway commute.

Interior has the usual wear patterns, I’d say it’s a solid 8-9/10. I have a crack in the dash near the A/C switch but I have a perfect replacement panel (that cost me $400 alone and is now impossible to find). Some tasteful upgrades including a lighted ZHP knob, LeatherZ accents, rewrapped steering wheel etc. The roof does not leak but it has wear areas, I would recommend replacing it in the next year or two.

Cliff Notes:
78,000 miles
Clean Carfax
Clean title
The car was over-maintained in my ownership
S52 runs like a top
Transmission shifts smooth, no issues other than the classic 5th-gear lean when cold
2 popped welds in the trunk since I bought it, no progression to subframe failure (I had a shop look at it last month and they saw no cracks or bends)
Front suspension overhaul
Full Ground-Control coilover setup (cost me $2k)
Recently refinished wheels
Comes with a host of spare parts, including IE subframe bushings and replacement interior panels
Recent Michelin Pilot SS tires (I think tires tell you a lot about how someone cares for their car)

Overall this car is an excellent, reliable driver. It is a BLAST to drive, but my commute keeps getting longer and I needed a more comfortable car.

Asking $15,000 or best offer with all extra parts.
