I am currently in possession of a 2001 Titanium Gray M Roadster with 32,000 orig miles. Interior is Estoril Blue/Black Nappa, Blue soft top, Tonneau cover, Remote key fobs.  Car has no issues. Very clean and excellent condition throughout.  Complete service records since new. As far as I know there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car. The VANOS system was just completely rebuilt less than 100 miles ago by a shop in Norcross Georgia that specializes in high performance and exotic European cars.

At one point many years ago (maybe '07-08?) it was involved in a minor collision on the pass front corner. It was minor enough not to be reported to insurance. Everything was put back together with OEM BMW parts, and there is no evidence of any damage or remaining issues from that collision. My aunt waited almost a year for the right color of front wheel to come in because they sent the correct wheel but it was a slightly wrong shade of silver or gray? It had to be shipped from Germany.
