I am listing this, M Roadster, for my girlfriend's son. A job promotion has relocated him to far North Dakota. As this vehicle would be impractical for most of the year in that part of the country, he has reluctantly decided to sell. He has owned the car for a little over 18 months and purchased it after seeing and riding in mine (I own the identical car).
With only 42,250 miles on the clock, the car is in excellent, original condition that drives and looks like new. It is finished in Cosmos Black with black leather interior and a black canvas, power, soft top. The paint is in excellent condition with a deep, deep luster. You can get a sense of this in photographs, but it is much better in person. From the factory these cars came fully loaded with power windows and seats, cruise control, and an AM/FM, 6 CD changer. An aftermarket, Clifford, key-less entry/alarm has also been added. A folder containing maintenance receipts also comes with the car.
When he originally purchased the car he replaced all 4 tires with new, "Michelin Pilot Sports". These have only had, approximately, 2,000 miles of use on them. He proactively replaced the water pump (they are renowned for failing at around 70,000 miles) with a heavy duty pump from, I believe, Turner Motor Sports. He also added new brakes all round with upgraded slotted rotas, ceramic pads, and braided, stainless steel lines.
The only blemish I know of is a small dent in the lower, rear of the drivers door. Unless one is really paying attention, it does not notice. I would rate this car a definite 8 and possibly a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. From my own experience, these cars are a blast to drive and are excellent value for money. In my own car, even driving "hard", around town, I consistently achieve 18 - 22 mpg. On the freeway and easing up a little, I get about 27 mpg. As for performance, even today, there are not many cars on the road that can compete with it and I don't believe any in this price range. I frequently receive the "thumbs up" and am asked if it is a new model. Because they had a relatively small production run, an additional benefit with of these cars is they are now starting to appreciate. Finding one this clean that hasn't been modified is a definite plus.
