Hate to give up my baby, but us teachers don't make enough to pay for gas (around 20 mpg, more on the highway).
The car is a gorgeous Boston Green colour with matching hardtop.
Recent maintenance includes (from front to back):
New headlight bulbs;
Newer tires;
New clutch and flywheel;
New radiator and hoses;
New alternator;
New and improved aftermarket Vanos;
Guibo has only 70k miles;
Glovebox rattle fix;
Yes, this car does have the $3,200 optional and matching hard top.
Hardtop has rear defrost option;
It is a 5 speed - no M roadsters ever came as automatics;
It has heated leather seats;
It has heated outside mirrors;
It has the 3.2 liter, S52 engine;
It has 160k miles. I am the third owner and bought it at 80k. I am a huge BMW fan and member of the local BMWCCA and feel this engine is bulletproof to 300k.
That is NOT the hardtop! I happen to have this picture handy. I used the car to transport a hardtop across town to get shipped.
Those are not the rims. They are from the 1995 lightweight M3 and have since been sold. Stock rims on now. They look better anyway.
There is a brake system warning light. I am sure this is the front left sensor wire gone bad. I have this wire and a set of brake pads that I will include because I'm not going to install this at this point.
This car has never been in an accident. I will furnish you with the VIN AFTER you see the car in person.
Private parties only, please. If you are a dealer and still insist on contacting me, you will still need to pay retail.
Clean title and a clean transaction is expected. Cash or certified check drawn on local bank that clears immediately. If you want to negotiate down, you will need to see the car first and I probably won't entertain offers that have less than 5 digits.
Too bad I have to put all that crap^^^in. Blame the guy that ruined it for everyone...
