Seller Description

I'm running out of space and have to let one go. My wife is getting that look in her eye... The top and tires were replaced right before I bought it. The plugs, engine oil and filter, transmission oil, and differential oil were also changed right before I bought it. Since then I have changed the oil (Liqui-Moly 10w60) and filter (Mann), switched the transmission fluid to Amsoil 5w30 Syncromesh, and installed a UUC braided stainless clutch hose, thus removing the factory restriction. It shifts very well now and much easier than when I bought it. I also replaced the serpentine and idler pulley and air conditioner belt a couple thousand miles ago. I performed all the work personally. I've worked for over 25 years as a machinist and before that as an automotive and diesel truck mechanic. I have a few receipts for the work that was done prior to my ownership. Regarding things electrical in nature, the PO had the bass speaker professionally replaced with a Kicker and I replaced the door speakers with quality speakers shortly after purchase. The car is due for its 60k-mile valve check/adjustment and I have the kit from FCP Euro but didn't get around to it before winter. The $139.19 kit will be included with the car: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-s54-valve-shim-service-kit525kt1 Also included is the service interval light reset tool, the original radio antenna, the tonneau cover, a suitbag that hangs on the passenger seat headrest, all original manuals and some receipts. The original owner had a very minor accident as shown by the Carfax report. The hood was replaced but the airbags did not deploy. I would keep this car if I had a 3-car garage but I don't. I just bought a Porsche and don't want to leave it on the driveway under a car cover!

It's been abotu 3.5 years since we last saw this roadster. It sounds like it's been well taken care of and well maintained. The price seems very fair to me.
