Up for auction is an immaculate one of a kind 2001 BMW M Roadster convertible.  This vehicle only has 7829 original miles.  It has the rare color combination of estoril metallic blue exterior, estoril blue leather interior and distinctive dark blue soft top.  It is a wonderful piece of automotive engineering which offers an unforgettable true open road fun driving experience with its light weight, great balance, amazing handling and very quick performance.  

I am the second owner of this vehicle.  I purchased it in 2007 from the Ferrari of Denver dealership.  They purchased the car from an estate sale.  The estate had purchased the car new from Gebhardt Automotive in Boulder Colorado, and it was placed in storage as a collector’s car.  When I purchased the vehicle, it had all the original factory stickers still on and had only 1786 miles.

The car is completely stock and has been meticulously cared for.  Only high grade premium fuel and full synthetic oil have been used.  All servicing has been performed at the BMW dealership.  Each time I have taken it in, they have commented on the car’s beauty and uniqueness.  The vehicle is fully functional.  It is in superior condition and performs and even smells like new.   There is not any road rash on any of the wheels and the car has not been smoked in.  It has not been used as a daily driver or commuter car.  It has only been driven for pleasure when weather permits and stored in the off-season.  Prior to off-season storage and during the driving season, it is washed and waxed regularly. 

As seen in the photographs, additional bonus items included with the car are the factory “M” floor mats, Wolf Automotive car cover, factory black convertible top Tonneau cover, wind screen, trickle charger, owner’s manual & binder, extra keys, and clear front bra protective cover.   I am also including a new unopened rear window.  Overtime the rear window has a tendency to cloud.  I have been able to maintain the original one, but depending on your own timing and preference, you will want to remove the original and zip in the new one.  

All of the original factory tools included with the M Roadster are in the trunk panel tool kit.  There are a few very minor (smaller than pin head size) nicks from normal road driving and a minor scuff on the lower front bumper (see photograph).  The clear protective bra has a couple of minor visual imperfections on the front bumper.  It is functional and provides road protection, but you can easily remove it if the imperfections trouble you.
