Seller Description

1998 BMW M Roadster, Estoril Blue exterior, blue/black interior.

Mechanically excellent condition. Exterior paint is also in excellent condition. All stock except for radio upgrade, glove box door fix and steel clutch line. Top is in good condition, works fine but the tensioners are a bit loose. The rear window started coming loose at some point and has been restitched. Plastic rear window is still fine no problems with visibility. Transmission shift pin rework was done at German Motors Mtn View (all other maintenance here as well). Fuel gauge sometimes shows empty right after tank is filled, have not bothered to fix it. Original antenna is missing (broken off). New radio uses powered antenna mounted on windscreen. All maintenance up to date.

Purchased July 2014 @ 114K miles. Currently about 125,500 miles.

Major maintenance:

- rear shocks and mounts @ 118K 7/2016
- brakes flushed @ 120K 8/2017
- clutch master/slave cylinder and new clutch line, pwr steering hose, rear tires @ 120K 9/2017
- new battery new radiator/water pump/drive belt/accessories @ 124K 5/2019
- radio replaced with new unit w/usb and bluetooth, new antenna
(regular antenna broken off by someone)

Happy to answer questions from serious buyers. I have tried to give you as much info as I can in this ad. This is a very fun car in great shape, well maintained and carefully driven. However it is a 22-year old car and has quite a bit of power and no traction control. Be sure you know what you're buying. Offers made without having seen the car will be ignored. Thanks for looking.

Back on the market with only 100 new miles. Price reduced to $10,500 from $12,500 which is better.

It's had some good maintenance since we last saw it back in 2014. It look spretty good overall for the mileage. It does show some of the usual issues like bolster wear and the center console crack.
