I am selling my 1999 BMW M Roadster - it is Alpine White on Black Nappa interior, 1 of 150 made in this color combo of the 10,501 ever produced. 42 records on the Carfax, and I have receipts for about $2500 I spent making the car perfect again over the last few months.
Services I have done in the last 2000 miles include:
- Radiator
- Water pump
- Thermostat
- Coolant flush
- Fan and fan clutch
- Belts service
- Engine mounts
- Transmission mounts
- Flex joint
- Spark plugs
- Motul synthetic oil change ($227 only for this, I only use Motul or Liqui Moly in my BMWs)
- Replaced the sun faded M badges with originals from BMW (again no cheap parts)
- Chassis and subframes checked
Clutch was replaced about 8,000 miles ago as well.
The car came fully loaded from the factory with heated seats and traction control which not all M Roadsters had back then. When I bought the car it had the manual top conversion already done so no expensive headaches to worry about there. AC blows very cold even through the recent heat, works great just like everything else in the car. I have attached some pictures, I have the Carfax and can send that and more photos if you are serious. The only signs of wear on the car is the steering wheel and some minor chips on the front bumper appropriate for its age, and the chrome on the wheels is slightly faded, nothing major. I will include the touch up paint I bought (original BMW Alpine White III). It is a clean car and mechanically it is in the great shape. All original parts, receipts and Carfax ready.
$16,800 OBO is the asking price for my car, I am selling it because I have downsized and no longer have enough parking spaces. I will consider reasonable offers, low ballers will be ignored. It is one of the rarest M cars out there.
Since I bought the car all I have done is take it to Malibu and Angeles Crest every weekend, it gets tons of attention at cars & coffee.
Super fast, has been extremely reliable and I am sad to see it go but I simply have too many cars and not enough space to keep them.
