Seller Description

Often considered as one of the best chassis’ and power package for driving oriented enthusiasts; the Z3 M roadster offered virtually everything one could want out of a sports car. Impressive handling, grin producing power to weight ratio, a low slung chassis, timeless roadster looks, and enough creature comfort options to make it a comfortable driver anywhere, at any time of year. Even to this day, manufacturers have not been able to recreate the iconic Z3 M recipe from the pinnacle era of BMW and the M division. Offered with various power plants over the years, this example is equipped with the later and more powerful S54B32 from the E46 M3. The result of such a powerful and well-balanced in-line six in such a small, nimble chassis is one of driving nirvana.

With only one owner and 49,000 miles from new, this Z3 M is a highly original example with excellent maintenance records going back to 2003. The motor runs exceptionally well and the 5-speed transmission sends 315 horsepower to the rear wheels without issue. The completely original Estoril Blue Metallic exterior over Estoril Blue and Black Nappa leather interior shows very well and is a modern-classic BMW color combination, showing only minor areas of wear on the driver side seat. The convertible top has been recently replaced and is new. These cars are a true modern classic with a driving dynamic that hearkens back to the days of analog connection to the road. For the Z3 M the phrase “Ultimate Driving Machine” was not just a catchy marketing campaign; it was a badge worn with honor.

The miles are reasonable and it looks to be all stock. It's in really nice condition and the photos are great. The price seems a little optimistic though.
