For sale 1999 BMW M Roadster. Has just over 102k miles on the odometer and mechanically in great condition. I???m selling due to downsizing the number of vehicles I own. The S52 engine runs strong and this car is a true blast to drive. Five speed manual shifts very well and the clutch was replaced just prior to my purchase. I had purchased this car from a friend who had a ton of work put into the car. KW coil overs, Wilwood big brake kit, new starter, and carbon fiber engine covers were installed just prior to my ownership. The soft top was replaced in 2020 by a BMW dealer. The top is still in great condition but does not work automatically. It???s so easy to operate by hand that I have not spent much time troubleshooting it.

Interior is in good shape with minor issues like the notorious seat belt guides are broken. There are no rips or tears in the seats and everything functions as it should. There is only one warning light on the dash for the brakes as the Wilwood kit did not have a place to hold the brake wear sensor. This warning can be easily bypassed if desired.

The only issue with the car is the rear bumper and wheels have clear coat failure and the hood could also benifit from paint correction. I have polished it the best I can and it does look good but it's not perfect. As a result I have priced the car accordingly. On the high end at this milage these cars sell between $19-20k. Pristine low milage examples go above $30k. They are becoming harder to find and are becoming more desirable as their clown car sister, the M Coupe's, value continues to rise. This is a true M car with the classic BMW driving experiance.

The car has a current VA safety inspection until August but will be eligible for classic tags this January.

I'm asking $16,900 OBO. All reasonable offers will be considered.
