Long term maintenance items typical for the Z3 M models have been addressed over time. Notably this vehicle has been heavily serviced by Randy Forbes and has his differential mount and subframe reinforcement installed - widely regarded as the best and permanent solution to the rear subframe underpinnings being over-stressed by the S54 drivetrain. The original single-ear rear differential cover has beenreplaced with a dual-ear model, helping keep the rear differential from further torque flexing. Mr Forbes also replaced the main rod bearings and fuel filter and many other wear & tear items at ~72k Mi. Inside, the seat belt guides and seat rail bushings for both seats have been upgraded/replaced. The two tone, wonderfully detailed interior features grey-faced 8k-rpm redline tachometer and 170 mph speedometer along with the M-exclusive additional gauge package for monitoring coolant and oil temperatures. A black leather wrapped center arm rest/console insert nicely complements the excellent driving experience behind the M-color-stitched steering wheel.
