Original-owner 1999 BMW Z3 M Roadster, finished in Cosmos Black Metallic with a black soft top and a black and Nappa leather interior. It is powered by an S52 in-line six cylinder engine (rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque) mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It was purchased locally at Claridge's BMW (now BMW of Fremont). From the included original window sticker, factory equipment includes 17" Style 40 wheels, a limited-slip differential, a power-retractable soft top, Nappa leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated seats, and a Business CD sound system. Note that the blanking plate where the voltmeter should be is how the car shipped from BMW (see BMW TSB 62 02 99).

All service records from new are included. It has been locally maintained by BMW of Fremont and by a local shop for the last 20+ years. Everything is stock, no modifications. There was one rear impact about 20 years ago and the bumper was replaced. All other paint and leather are original and show minor imperfections commensurate with age and use. The front tires are due for replacement. The clutch works fine but requires extra effort.

M Roadsters debuted in 1998 sharing the engine from the E36 M3, a sportier suspension system, and wider wheel arches, among other changes. This M Roadster is one of 1,165 finished in Cosmos black over black Nappa leather for the North American market. It's a fabulously fun car to drive and we hope it will find a new enthusiastic owner who will enjoy it for years to come.
